 Why protein digestion is very important?

Well, you have taken a protein-rich diet, but if your digestion system is not up to the mark, then 
how it can provide you some help, so it's very important to understand that proteins get
digested, and if our system, means the digestive system is slow, then can we do something to
improve it, and if yes, then how,(1)

How protein gets digested?

Now this is all area controlled by enzymes, some enzymes body makes itself and some also
 comes from the food that we eat, so enzymes are involved moment protein we take,(2)

What are enzymes?

Well, these are again proteins that act as a catalyst in the living organisms where they
 regulate the rate of chemical processes, without themself being altered or attached, means
 they will be used in the process again and again, so it means very small amount can
 manage to control a large scale of conversions from these chemical processes,(3)

So, what is the role of these enzymes in protein digestion?

It all starts the moment someone eats food

-stage of chewing

This happens in the mouth itself, it involves two enzymes of saliva
amylase
lipase
they mostly work on fats and carbohydrates and they start breaking down them

-stage of stomach

For proteins, this is the main stage and here proteins converted to amino acids and
the enzyme involved is called proteases which works with hydrochloric acid present
in the stomach

-stage of the small intestine

So, amino acids formed comes to the small intestine, where the pancreas releases complex 
enzymes which along with bicarbonate buffer to further work on amino acids and the enzymes
involved are
trypsin
chymotrypsin
carboxypeptidase

Where protein gets absorbed?

So, these broken-down proteins called as amino acids get absorbed in the small intestine
and from here they will go to the bloodstream, which carries them to cells where they 
will be used for repairing tissues, and building muscles

How to improve this process?

-first, don't gulp, or swallow the food chew the food very thoroughly
-eat in small portions but many times throughout a day
-avoid any kind of stress while you are taking food
-do not do even moderate exercise just after a meal
-take probiotics which can increase this absorption
-if you are drinking alcohol, then limit that
-if you have some health condition such as diabetics and liver disease
 then take extra care
-try to choose better complete proteins, avoid in-complete proteins
-if you are recovering from some health condition, ask the doctor to
  recommend some digestive aids
